SORRY SHOES started up in Cologne (2009), led by Australian/German production duo Mike Kelly & Jean Philips, who simply wanted to make their sounds without conforming to fashions or genre.
The first releases amazingly picked support from Tiesto and so many other top DJs. Quickly the artist collective expanded throughout Europe, Australia, India, and North America.
The music policy is simply that good music is irresistible. We present a refreshing fusion of progressive-tech-house-tribal-techno, which reflects both underground electronic music, and emotional songwriting. Our taste is beyond niche. We present music for dancing. Sorry Shoes...
Our tunes have rocked the sessions of Fedde Le Grand, Roger Sanchez, Chus, Tiesto, Andy Moor, Axwell, The Flash Brothers, Daniel Portman, Terry Lee Brown, Hernan Cattaneo, Lissat and Voltaxx, Infusion, TyDi, Hoxton Whores, Joachim Garraud, Seb Fontaine, Abel Ramos … just to name a few!
